This is a nice run especially on a sunny day. Try running it anti-clockwise as well for lovely views of the city as you approach Chester. If you are visiting Chester or travelling to run it I would recommend a change to the start point as there is very limited parking (no parking) at the kissing gate. Start at the Roundabout by the mile one marker or by the river at L10 (Eccleston Village) where adjacent parking is easy. Finally can be a little bit muddy along the river bank if it has rained a lot.
