OVERVIEW

Road ride, very hilly in places

Swinley Forest is a great place to go for a family day out. Cycling is popular in the forest with both families and mountain bikers (a permit is required for over 16s which is available from The Look Out Centre.) Bike hire is also available next to the car park. The Look Out Centre from where the run starts is a children's hands-on science centre and is well worth a visit for younger children. Just over the road from the start is the Coral Reef Leisure Pool. Also,there is the 'Go Ape' high ropes course for adults and children over 10 years old (and
over 140cms tall). This can be busy at peak
times and is open summer only so prior booking is recommended.
