OVERVIEW Windsor Great Park extends to approx. 14000 acres and is a Royal Park managed by the Crown Commissioners.
Virginia Water Lake was dammed and flooded in 1753 and was the largest man-made lake in the British Isles until the creation of the reservoirs.
