OVERVIEW The Windmill Lane Bridge is known as The Three Bridges and was Isambard Kingdom Brunel's last railway project. It was engineered in 1856 in such a way as to superimpose the road and canal over the railway and thereby to avoid spoiling nearby Osterley Park. Osterley House which is on the route was built in 1761 as a residence |
