OVERVIEW

The Cotswold Way Relay passes along here in one saturday in late June at about 1 o'clock on its way to Bath. This is a 10 stage relay run as 10 separate races along the 103 mile length of the Long Distance Path. The race is 90% off road and contested by about 70 teams each year. Highly recommended!

Hi Killian,

I investigated this area and route on a stupidly hot day this summer and the heat clearly addled my brain but there were some great views and climbs. I shouldn't complain, how we wish for those hot days now!

Cheers

Andy

What a run!  The runs up onto the two ridges are well worth it - the views were amazing - just a pity i had turned myself inside out getting up there.  I went slighty wayward on my navigation coming off the cricket ground (and me a former RAF navigator), I think it is a right turn onto the lane rather than the guide note's left.  Gave me a little extra mileage but soon made it back into Dursley in the gloaming.  I'll try this one again and run it properly now i know my way.  Great!
