OVERVIEW The Park was landscaped in the mid 1700's by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown commisioned by the Charles Wyndham (2nd Earl of Egremont). Brown was clearly a busy, and presumably rich, man being resposible for landscaping something like 170 large parks and gardens. |
