This unique event, now in its 33rd year, is run by The Rotary Club of the South Cotswolds to raise money for local charities. It is held in Badminton Park in Gloucestershire, and the all-terrain course takes the runners over some of the world-famous Horse Trials obstacles, in sight of the deer herds, and through fields and woods.
Runners can enter as individuals or in teams for the half-marathon, 9 or 5 mile categories. Canicross runners can enter for either 9 or 5 miles. Juniors aged 15 or under on 2nd October 2016 may enter the 5 mile category.
Individual entries are £20 per adult, and adult team entries are £80 per team of 4 or 5. Junior entries are £10 per person, and team entries are £40 per team of 4 or 5.
E-registration and chip timing for the event are being handled by Full on Sport. Entries received before Sunday 25th September will be sent a free car park ticket for the event. On the day entries will need to pay £5/car for a car park ticket on arrival.
Every entrant will receive a medal at the finish, and the winner of each category will receive a prize. The best fancy dress team, judged at the beginning of the race, will also receive a prize.
