Following the success of our 2015 event we are delighted to announce for 2016 a Triathlon and Run Festival in the beautiful grounds of Lord Shaftesbury’s Estate, in Wimborne St Giles, Dorset.

The weekend will be a mixture of Open water swimming, Triathlon, Running, camping, live music and good food. There will also be lots of activities and sports events to keep the children amused.

The “Triathlon day” with a closed road Standard, Sprint, and Novice distances, with partial closed road routes followed by a Children’s Event.

The swimming will begin in the shallow and stunning Ornamental Lake, which is fed by the River Allen. Exit out of the water on the floating pontoon and run directly into transition which is overlooked by the impressive 17^th Century house.

Exit out of the Estate on private roads into the Dorset Countryside allowing you to take in the scenic lanes which will have a full road closures. The routes will involve a lap through the Estate where you can get cheered on by all the spectators.  

When you have completed your ride, exit transition back onto the Private Estate to run around the 5500 Acres, of undisturbed Farm Land and Countryside.

Finish along the 1Km tree lined home straight onto the red carpet and across the finish line to receive your bespoke medal from Lord Shaftesbury.
