The Redcar Half Marathon Events for 2016 once again will include the INEOUS sponsored 1 mile Go Run For Fun, the Beacon 5k as well the wheelchair half marathon.

The half marathon has a potentially fast course given the right conditions. With a start that takes you along Majuba Road on to the Trunk Road and returning to head off towards Marske before returning to finish outside Tuned In. We hope to attract runners of all abilities, however if you are unable to cover the first mile without walking then we would strongly advise you to enter the Beacon 5k event instead. We will be operating a cut off at 7 miles – any one reaching this point slower than 95 minutes will be advised that race support may be withdrawn. Alternatively you may also consider teaming up with 2 other runners and take part in the Team Relay event.

TEAM RELAY: Will be for teams of three – 1st Leg = 5 mile approx., 2nd Leg = 4 miles approx., and 3rd Leg = 4 miles approx.. The person making the entry will be considered to be the team captain and we will contact team captains by email asking them to supply details of the other team members.
