BrathayRunning is 10 years old and on the 22nd May 2016 we will be holding the 10th Brathay Windermere Marathon as well as the final day of the 10th anniversary Brathay 10in10. To mark the occasion we are launching the inaugural Brathay Half Marathon.

The 13.1 mile route starts from Brathay Hall and you will run through the honey-pot village of Hawkshead and alongside the peaceful Esthwaite Water to the halfway point .

The whole course is run on either closed or partially closed roads and the marshalls are the friendliest around! BrathayRunning has outstanding local support and, to top it all, you will get to see the inspirational men and women who will be completing the final marathon of their 10in10.

Your entry fee includes timing chip, electrolyte sports energy drinks and bottled water at three refreshment stations and the finish line, marathon finisher’s medal, trophies and prizes for winners in all age categories, and a goody bag.
