Race Guide
Weston Park Cancer Research Pretty Muddy run

Date / Time
Saturday, May 4, 2019
Length 3.11 miles (5.0 km)
Description

This year, for the first time, Cancer Research UK is inviting everyone in the area - women, men and children - to join the Race for Life.

The Pretty Muddy Weston Park route is a circular route around its beautiful grounds making it the perfect setting for an event like this. The course is a mixture of path, tracks and grass, it is mostly flat but there are some hills offering some scenic views over Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Pretty Muddy Kids starts at 9:45am, Pretty Muddy 5K starts at 10:30am and Pretty Muddy 10K starts later at 10:45am!

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Registration is £19.99 per adult and £10.00 per child!

All money raised will go into Cancer Research UK's crucial work.

We also need volunteers to help make the day a success. Anyone can volunteer, and can register to do so at https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/about-our-events/volunteer
