2020 ITU Sprint Distance Duathlon Qualifier

Now in it's fifth year we are pleased to present a traffic free duathlon on the Darley Moor motor racing circuit. The event is a 2020 ITU Sprint Distance Duathlon qualifier but is also open to anyone, including novices.

If you are interested in qualifying for the ITU championships you need to register with British Triathlon before entering. 

There will be a number of waves through the morning/early afternoon. Full details of which age groups will be in each wave will be released closer to the event when numbers are known.

The event will comprise:

Run Leg 1 - 5km - Two laps of the path around the circuit
Cycle Leg - 20km - Eight laps on the tarmac circuit 
Run Leg 2 - 2.5km - One lap of the path around the circuit

The race venue has be toilets, refreshments, parking and very basic free camping available.

Registration opens at 8:00am

Race Limit - 400

Minimum Age - 15

Entry fees:

September race only - British Triathlon members - £31.00 plus  booking fee

                                                     Non members - £36.00 plus booking fee

Both May & September races -

                             British Triathlon members - £57.00 plus booking fee

                                                   Non members - £67.00 plus booking fee

There will be no entries on the day, online entries will remain open until 12.00 on Friday September 20th if the event has not sold out beforehand.

Part of each entry fee from this event will be donated to the Darley Moor motor racing circuit for it's upkeep.

Our first sprint duathlon at Darley Moor will be held on the 26th  May 2019 and is a qualifier for the 2020 ETU Sprint Distance Champioships. We are offering a small discount if you sign up for both events at once.

There will be a series of junior events on Sat 21st September, further details will be announced shortly. Why not take advantage of the free basic overnight camping and bring the kids along to take part in this Duathlon weekend.
