When he was 16, according to legend, Patrick drove all the snakes out of Ireland. St Patrick's Day is celebrated on 17th March each year. This is a scenic, fast and flat route great for PBs. Parking, toilets & facilities very close by; choose your distance (5k, 10km or half marathon). Bespoke medal & special St Paddy beer for all finishers. Fancy dress optional (but strongly encouraged!). Friendly marshals, cake & candy at the refreshment points and finish line. What's not to love? The St Paddy's Day Purgatory is suitable for leprechauns of all ages and abilities (wheelchair/pram friendly route). There will be plenty of cheer from the crowds to get you on your way. A warm up to loosen those limbs will take place at the start, plus lots of other folk to trot, dance or prance the pavements with. There's a goody bag for every entrant, plus a medal and cake & candy when you get to the finish.
