An accurately measured 8 mile, one lap road race on a completely flat course.
The race is in its 33rd year and Lliswerry Runners organise the Lliswerry 8 mile road race around the lanes of Goldcliff and Nash villages on the edge of Newport.
The race starts and finishes at Lliswerry Secondary School, Nash Road, Newport.
Timing chips and numbers are to be collected on the day from Race HQ at Newport Stadium.
The event is suitable for runners of all abilities!
A good quality technical T shirt will be given to each runner.
Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winners of each age category, and to the winning teams of 3 runners.

Entries open at 19:30 (7:30pm) on the 1st December. Online entries only - NO entries on the day
The race limit is 850 Runners and there will be a waiting list of 100.
It will be possible for one person to make multiple entries but race places are not allocated until payment is received. In other words, as you are taking time to enter additional Runners, the race is filling up and you might not get a place.
Once the limits are reached all entries will close.
Entrants will be able to amend or change their entries online.
Timing chips and race numbers must be collected from Race HQ on the morning of the event
