It’s a race with no set route - you have to find your own way around the course, between a series of checkpoints, using a special map we’ll give you.  Chip timing, 2k, 3k, 5k, 6k and 8k courses - ideal for all abilities of runner. Expect vegetation, mud, and a few challenges around your course! Each checkpoint might be on paths, ditches, streams, or hidden behind vegetation. Be as competitive as you want - run, jog or go at your own pace, there’ll also be shorter courses for juniors too.

Just turn up and enter on the day, any time between 10:00 and 11:30. Courses close at 1pm. Entry fees are just £12 for adults and groups; £4 for solo juniors (advance entry fees. On the day entry fees are £2 more). Your entry fee includes a special waterproof map to keep as a souvenir plus hire of a timing chip to record your progress at each checkpoint.

Organised by Thames Valley Orienteering Club. Parking and registration at business park in Penn Street village, adjacent to the “Hit or Miss” Public House, HP7 0PX. Just turn up, lots of help will be available for newcomers.
