Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 2018
Date / Time
Length
6.21 miles (10.0 km)
Description
Conquer the cold and help beat cancer sooner at the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10k! With a closed road central London route, polar bear hugs at the finish line and a Penguin Party.
The route is full of the sights and sounds of London, every kilometre giving a new experience, and with no major hills to note the course will suit all abilities and ambitions.
In previous years, participants have started in the iconic Trafalgar Square, with the first few hundred metres of the race taking over the terrace of the National Gallery. The course then took runners out past landmarks such as Somerset House, Guildhall Yard and the stunning St Paul’s Cathedral plus the famous Penguin Party, before turning onto Whitehall in front of Horse Guards Arch and across the finish line to pick up a well-deserved medal – and for those that wished it a Polar Bear hug!
