Length
2.50 miles (4.0 km)
Description
The 2.5-mile loop at Hartshill Hayes Country Park (Nuneaton) means your race can be less than 5k or over 30miles! You decide how many laps you're going to do on the day within the 6-hour time limit. If you're looking to cover a marathon distance you'll need to complete 11 laps (27.5 miles) and a half marathon will be 6 laps (15 miles!). Beware this is a hilly course - there will not be many PB's set here!!
In summary, it's hilly! It's a great course, mainly through the mature woodland, there is a killer set of steps you get to run down and some stunning views across countryside at the start of each lap. There is a very short section of tarmac (around 20m) followed by some compact trail but the vast majority of the course is woodland trail.
