Taking place at The Stradbroke Swim and Fitness Centre, it’s an ideal early season triathlon for anyone who is new to the triathlon world. The swim is short and simple, a 160m pool swim whereby triathletes swim two lengths of each lane in the pool before exiting the water. The cycle route is amazing! A single 17km loop taking in some breathtaking (literally) views along country roads. Sweet and simple the run is two laps of a 1.5km route around playing fields next to the leisure centre and on the headland of adjoining arable fields.

This race is suitable for youths and adults aged 15+ and is an ideal introduction to triathlon competition as well as a great warm up to the season for more experienced competitors. 

After running for just 2 years, Stradbroke Triathlon has won the right to call itself one of the UK’s top rated triathlons. The 2016 event was voted  runner up in an award for Best UK Triathlon 2016 by online race listing and review site Racecheck.
