A road, path and track race that circumnavigates Rainford and surrounding areas starting and finishing at the College in Higher Lane. The route takes you through open spaces of rural Rainford and utilises sections of the linear parks' newly refurbished and scenic pathways. The route also passes through the NW Golfcourse to the halfway water station. With some long stretches of road the course offers variety with challenge.
This is the 3rd year the Trophy will be competed for and race competitors gave very good feedback on the course and event. Supporting families can be entertained within the school grounds with Bouncy castle, refreshments and music part of the occasion for all.
