The Starfish Races has been designed to appeal to runners of all abilities with three events;
Full marathon
Half Marathon
10.5k relay (teams of four)
Runners compete over a 10.5k looped course along the picturesque Bexhill Promenade.
***We are pleased to announce chipped timing will be used this year.***
The event is UKA licensed with the course having been officially measured so can be used to obtain 'best for age' times.

Prizes
Every finisher will receive a commemorative medal.
There are engraved trophies for the winners of the ladies & men's marathon plus half marathons with engraved medals for each runner up & 3rd place. The winners, runners up & third place from the 10.5k relay each receive an engraved medal.
There are also four spot prizes of a bottle of champagne & each runners number will be entered into a free draw to win £100.
The Course
Predominantly flat, with two short inclines at the eastern turn that gives entrants a good opportunity of recording a PB. With sea views along the entire course you also enjoy at the eastern turn views looking over Glynde Gap to Hastings & at the western turn across Pevensey Bay to Eastbourne & the South Downs.
Race HQ & Start/finish
The Race HQ is the Bexhill Rowing Club which is sited on the prom below the iconic De La Warr Pavilion & is also used for race registration plus bag drop.
The start line is on the prom with the finish line on the lawns of the DLWP.
The relay changeover area is also in front of the rowing club.
Start Time
The race starts at 10am with a lead bike for the first lap. The event finishes at 4pm.P
