The Rodbaston 10K

Set within the vast acres of Rodbaston Hall. Now an agricultural college and wedding venue it has opened up it's land for our running event for the very first time. A great cross country route has been confirmed through rolling fields and there's even a few small obstacles to liven things up.

This race looks set to be firm favourite on the race calender.

Rodbaston Hall, Rodbaston Drive, Penkridge, Staffordshire, ST19 5PH

Start Time:

11.00am Saturday 17th September 2016.

Car Parking:

Plenty of free parking for everyone.

Changing:

Please arrive ready to race as there are no changing facilities on site.

Toilets:

These are provided at the onsite cafe. Please respect these facilities and consider the local environment and other site users on the day.

Course:

This wonderful new multi terrain route rolls through the fields and pathways of Rodbaston's estate. Trail shoes are recommended on this fun enjoyable course, expect some uneven ground, grass, trail, tracks, stiles, paths, water and an obstacle or two.

Timing and Results:

The emphasis here is on getting out there and having fun but this is still a chip timed event. Results will be updated on our results page as soon as we can.

Race Photography:

We don't think runners should have to pay extras when running a race. So we'll have a camera set up to capture your best race faces for free, just download what you want later off our race gallery.

Drinks Station:

Thirsty work this running lark so we've put a water station approx halfway around the course.

Race Number & Race Details:

All race numbers are allocated and given out on the day. Simply collect your number from the hub cafe registration area on race morning, so please give yourself enough time to collect yours and fill in the reverse with any medical details we need to know about.

Full race details will be emailed out approx 7-10 days before race day. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your correct email address otherwise you may miss this vital information.

Race Medal:

A custom made Rodbaston medal will be given to each runner for crossing the finish line.

No Entries On The Day:

Sorry but we cannot accept entries on the day.

Online entries only please which are £16.

Minimum age 14yrs.

Closing date for entries is 10th September 2016 -

But will close early when capacity reached.

Refreshments & Food:

Rodbaston are kindly opening up their hub cafe just for us. Serving hot Costa coffee and a choice of food and snacks. This will be the centre of our race where friends and family can relax while you're out earning your medal.

Transfer Policy:

All entries are non-refundable. The staging of events have to be booked and paid for many months in advance. We are however pleased to offer a free transfer service. We can swap your place to a friend / relative / team mate etc but you must handle any reimbursment of funds direct with that person, WE ONLY SWAP THE RACE ENTRY DETAILS OVER.

First Aid:

You should be relatively fit and have no known medical conditions which would hinder your run or cause the race organiser concern. Medical support will be present on the day. You are reminded not to run if you feel ill or have a cold or flu on race day as this can be extremely dangerous. Do not take part if you have any respiratory illness or recent medical condition.
