Highly recommended.

I did it in a mixed team of eight, too, and agree with everything Lauren says - a wonderful event! It was of course helped in no short measure by the great weather, and by the showing of the Olympics on the big screen, neither of which is likely to be repeated... Even so, I'm returning this year, but going solo!

I'm also doing the Thunder Run's little brother, the Conti Lightning Run - a mere 12 hours. It was cancelled in March due to the weather but has been rescheduled for 30 June.
