Hi Bob I have just recovered from a knee injury and its so annoying and frustrating when it happens.Im a fairly new runner and tend not to run up hills as I feel it wastes my energy. i run parkrun 5k nealry every Saturday and been building up and joined a running club. My knee was agony after a session with running club on uneven surface through woods and on riverbank and was trying to push myself. I paid for it with the agony on knee. I did have a weakness there a while ago and remembered been told to do knee exercises. I was so bad i went into town and bought a support bandage which I highly recommend and doing knee execises to strengthen has worked for me. it took a bit to ease off but im fine now but wary of running up hills. Take it easy and run if you want but watch the hills for a bit. Happy running Brenda
