Hello, I started running a coupleof years ago, it has changed mylife and my figure! I'm a single mum with 3 children so fitting the training in is a bit tricky, however I have managed to complete the Coniston trail marathon last year, I regularly compete in trail races and am doing my second sprint tri soon. I'm lucky to live in a very hilly area which means I have no choice but to hill train if I want to run. I have met so many really lovely people through running, it has improved my life 10 fold! |

Hi I have started running in jan 2011, age 39 at that time, and was one of those people who 'hated running". Since I absolutely love it and thanks my running buddy Leah for that. I have done sone 10k races, cabbage patch 10 miles" and Brighton half marathon in feb. I would not consider my life without running now Karine |

GRG is in contributing to an article on women's running - in Prima and Health and Fitness. They are also in need of a female runner to illustrate the feature; ideally, your will be aged between 37 and 44 and have recently taken up running (within the last few years) and willing to have your full name and two pictures published in the magazine. If you would like to volunteer then please email me. First come, first served! |
