Well I'm all signed up for it now... Also signed up for the Milton Keynes Marathon in April. I've upped my miles and started my core muscle training so I'm still pretty confident about it. Plenty of time to convert from a 30 Mile a week runner to a 60+ Mile a week runner... Going to be a challenge! |

hehe, my feelings are same as Kate. Team Dean makes me feel I can do anything, reality may be somewhat different. But after running marsthon no 1 in April I've already got 2 and 3 paid up and training for! |

I can understand that Matt, its calling me now too!! But not next year. I have a marathon in 3 weeks I've trained hard for and another one in April, then I'll re assess then. I have a time I want to complete it, once that is completed I'll need my next challenge! Dean Karnazes' book is very readable. I read it in 2 days |

The Milton Keynes Marathon is on the 29th April, I've been running for just over a year. I want to get the Dean Karnazes book on audiobook soon so should be a good read or listen. I'm running 25 to 30 miles a week at present. It's like the London to Brighton is calling me and don't get me wrong I know I#m probably way to new to running to even consider such a distance but like I said. it's calling me. :-/ |

It depends :) If you push your body too quickly you could get injured. When is Milton Keynes? Have you been running a long time? Have you read Dean Karnazes book?? What sort of mileage are you doing at the moment? They recommend to not do a marathon till you have run a couple of years. I've done 5 over the past 2 years, they are still tough but one day I would like to push it that bit further. |

lol, nope not run one marathon yet! But do plan to run the New Milton Keynes Marathon next year as prep for this big race. Perhaps I'm a bit optimistic but if you put the hard training in then things work out fine dont they? |

Has anyone ever run this? I'm seriously considering entering this race in September, and advice would be great, thanks. |
