Hayley,
Indian Queens half is sometime early August. I know its a fair wait but you could pencil it into your diary.
I'm considering this one myself as I'll be in St. Ives around that time on my jollies.

Well done Hayley! Your time is most definitely secondary to how you felt at the end of it. After my first half I wanted to curl up and die. :-) The fact that you didn't can only be a good thing. Book the next one in now!

Kate - I think there's definite potential for you to have a nickname on here. Something that is a play on your surname but also subtly implies that you like to "grind" your opponents into the dirt? "Grinder Groundsell" or "The Grounder Pounder" or something.

It needs work. :-)

I know what you mean Jenny, though I think it's a lovely race as it takes in so many sights! Then again, I've done it a couple of times and I also run a lot round Hyde Park of a lunchtime, so I guess I'm familiar with it. I know what you mean though - sometimes it seems that you don't actually 'go anywhere'!

Kate - I'm Roland on GRW! So you might remember that I spent Sunday night quaffing red wine to toast my PB. :-)

Errrmmmm.... I think the only thing I can say at this stage Hayley is - enjoy it!!! And try and get a good night's sleep too!

I really should be taking my own advice as I'm doing the Royal Parks half tomorrow myself, and still dithering around getting my kit ready...

Let us know how you get on.
