Hello - newbie here.  Well, just renewed after joining last year - but I mean it this time!

I use the Garmin FR60 with footpod (and bike gadget) too.  Currently I just retype the uploaded data from the Garmin Connect site to this one, but then I don't do anything complicated like laps/splits yet.

Don't want to seem ungrateful but there's something lacking on the Garmin site that this place more than makes up for.

See you round.

Thanks Cat - it's helpful to know what demand there is for this.  I'm hoping we'll be able to look at adding support for Footpods but need to investigate what's involved.

Glad you like the new Route Measurer!

 Hi John

I'm guessing you need to see what kind of demand there is for footpod support.  So just to add my two penn'orth, I run with an FR60 with footpod, so none of my runs are done with GPS.  I'd love the site to support footpods as I could then see my lap times overlaid with the route that I map out for myself on your lovely site.  Although I can see my laps on the Garmin site, it doesn't allow me to map routes so i'm really reliant on your site to check hill profiles etc.  Love the new map BTW.

Hi Paul,

Our Garmin Uploader calculates the distance of the run from the GPS coordinates so unfortunately there are no coordinates when using a footpod.  We can certainly look into the changes needed to support footpods though.  Thanks for raising this.

Hi,

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 and while I do most of my runs outdoors I do my speed Interval runs in the Gym on a dreadmill.  I have purchased the Garmin footpod accessory to allow me to still use the Garmin when in the gym.

This is all working fine and the distance is very accurate however when I upload my runs to GRG it is not picking up the distance information.  I picks up the time etc but distance is zero.  Are footpod runs supported by GRG and if so do I need to do anything special when uploading them?
