I've had my FR60 with HR monitor & footpod for just over a year & it has worked faultlessly. I've downloaded & installed a firmware update, when Garmin Training Centre notified me of it, with no problems. As for the online manual, it is a downloadable PDF file that I keep on my desktop & I find it easy to use & informative.

Yep- got one recently, and love if for the graphs it outputs, the numerous alarms that can be set, the 'virtual partner' feature, and the configurable screens. If you do go for one, get it with the HR monitor and footpod - much cheaper as a package than buying the pod seperately.
