OVERVIEW

A hilly but rewarding route centred on Lyme Park. The run features a long and tough climb across the estate, through a wood and over moorland before plummeting down a very quiet lane. Then, having crossed some farmland, returns back into the estate for a visit to The 'Cage' and Darcy's House.

The hall was used as Pemberley, the seat of Mr. Darcy, in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice, and perhaps more suprisingly as a location for the Red Dwarf episode "Timeslides", as well as numerous other productions.
