Run Falmouth Half Marathon

Date / Time
Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
Length 13.10 miles (21.1 km)
Description

The third race in the Cornwall Glass and Glazing 2015 Grand Prix Series (and organised in conjunction with Falmouth Road Runners), Run Falmouth provides a uniquely coastal route for a half marathon in Cornwall. Take on the  challenge of the hilly course around the Falmouth area whilst taking in the  stunning coast and countyside of the area.

Starting and finishing at The Moor, where there will be a runners village and entertainment, the route will take participants past Pendennis Castle and Gyllngvase Beach, through to Swanpool and Maenporth beaches before heading inland to Mawnan Smith and Buddock Water before turning back through Penryn and along the waterfront again back into Falmouth town.

Once you have completed this scenic but challenging route, a well-deserved glass of bubbly will be waiting for you!

This half marathon is organised by local charity Cornwall Hospice Care, and all of the money raised from it  will remain within the county to benefit the people of Cornwall that  are cared for at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice and St Julia's Hospice. We would love it If you would like to raise some sponsorship for Cornwall Hospice Care but this is not compulsory - just by taking part you will be making a difference.
