Length
6.21 miles (10.0 km)
Description
The BigK 10K is a tough multi-terrain event that links Keighley's four superb parks.
Mothers Day Sunday 15th March 2015
The Keighley BigK is a challenging 10K at the start of the running season which follows a circular route through the paths parks and roads of Keighley . Last year 1300 people entered creating a great atmosphere and this year we hope to beat that. The event is run in aid of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice which cares for 1200 people each year who are living with serious illness including cancer. Because of the generous support of our corporate sponsors listed below it means all of participants entry fees go straight to funding our care. Some participants help us further by raising sponsorship to take part though there is no obligation to do so. The event starts at 9:00am and we ask people to arrive by 8:20am to collect their timing chip.
The 2014 Event
Thanks to everyone who took part in the Keighley BigK 10K on Sunday 30th March 2014. Once pledged sponsorship comes in we expect the event to raise a record £60,000 for the work of Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice so thank you for your support.
