Milford Common is the starting point for another memorable event. The 2014 race sold out very early, we strongly recommend booking well in advance.
Course:
The route follows a 10k ish loop around the Milford Common & Cannock Chase area on open heathland and woodland tracks. The trail is undulating and in some places hilly.
Car Parking:
Free car parking for all participants, but will get busy. Please try are car share where possible.
Toilets:
Opposite the start area. Please consider the local environment, respect these facilities and other site users on race day.
Changing:
Due to the remote location of this event we regret that there will be no changing or shower facilities.
Timing and Results:
This will be a timed event and results will be updated on the results page.
Race Photography:
Once again race day pictures will be available to view and download for free on our photos page.
Drinks Station:
There will be a water station approx halfway around the course.
Race Number & Race Details:
All numbers will be allocated and collected from the race start area on morning of the race, so please give yourself enough time to collect yours and fill in the reverse before the start. Full race details will be emailed out approx 7 days before. It is your responsibility to ensure we have your correct email address otherwise you will not get a race pack.
Race Technical Tee shirt:
These will be handed to each runner as you cross the finish line..
Please select your size when entering online (sizes for entries after 3rd August cannot be guaranteed but we will do our best!)
No Entries On The Day:
Deadline for entries is 5th October 2015 but will close early when capacity reached.
Refreshments & Food:
Hot meals snacks and drinks are available to purchase afterwards at either the Barley Mow Pub opposite (with a Wacky Warehouse) or Wimpy.
Refund Policy:
Mash Running is happy to offer a refund minus an admin fee of £5.50 for anyone wishing to withdraw from the race until 5th August 2015. We regret that after this date we will not be able to provide any refund, credit transfer, deferral, transfer to another person or credit in full or in part whatever the circumstances of any entrants' non attendance. You fee will go towards putting on this event.
First Aid:
You should be relatively fit and have no known medical conditions which would hinder your run or cause the race organiser concern. Medical support will be present on the day. You are reminded not to run if you feel ill or have a cold or flu on race day as this can be extremely dangerous. Do not take part if you have any respiratory illness or recent medical condition.
