Plymouth's Half Marathon, is a stunning and varied run; coastal views, charming harbour, the beautiful National Trust grounds of Saltram Park as well as the iconic Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake played bowls!
This is a much celebrated traffic-free road race, which takes in all that is great about Plymouth and sees runners returning year after year!
The race starts in style on the Hoe, running along the seafront to the Barbican. As the route wraps around the harbour, runners will follow a flat, straight course along Gdynia Way, crossing Laira Bridge. After crossing the bridge runners will take a gradual climb along Billacombe Road.
The course will then enter the stunning grounds of Saltram Park, taking runners on a downhill stretch passing Saltram House with views across Plymouth.
Runners will take an out and back route along Embankment Road and then take a flat course along Gdynia Way.
In reaching the harbour area of the Barbican, the finish is almost in sight taking you back along the seafront and finishing to the roar of the crowds back where you started on the Hoe!
