The Mash Running 2015 Cannock Chase Series kicks off with a new route at Brindley Bottom!
The Mash March Madness 10K starts and finishes at Brindley Bottom. Ideally located opposite the main Marquis Drive visitors centre where your free car parking awaits. A fantastic route has been confirmed through some of the most beautiful and unspoilt forest trails in the country.
Location:
Brindley Bottom, opposite Cannock Chase Visitors Centre, Marquis Drive, Hednesfield, nr Cannock, WS12 4PW.
Start Time:
11.00am Saturday 28th March 2015.
Car Parking:
Free parking for all participants, follow the signs along the main entrance from Marquis Drive.
Changing:
Due to the remote location we regret that there will be no changing facilities so please arrive ‘race-ready’. The car park is less than a 2 min walk from the start area.
Course:
The route follows a 10k loop. Trails are on open heathland and woodland trails which in some places are hilly.
Toilets:
These are provided at the onsite visitors centre.
Timing and Results:
This will be a timed event and results will be updated on our results page.
Race Photography:
Race photos will be available to view and download for free.
Drinks Station:
There will be a water station approx halfway around the course.
Race Number & Race Details:
All race numbers are allocated on the day.
Race Souvenir:
These will be given to each runner as you come through the finish area.
No Entries On The Day:
Due to the popularity of The Chase Series we cannot accept entries on the day because of the high number of pre-registered entries.
Refund Policy:
Mash Running is happy to offer a refund minus an admin fee of £5.50 for anyone wishing to withdraw from the race until Friday 30th January 2015. We regret that after this date we will not be able to provide any refund, credit transfer, or credit in full or in part whatever the circumstances of any entrants' non attendance and your fee will go towards the cost of putting on this event.
First Aid:
You should be relatively fit and have no known medical conditions which would hinder your run or cause the race organiser concern. Medical support will be present on the day. You are reminded not to run if you feel ill or have a cold or flu on race day as this can be extremely dangerous. Do not take part if you have any respiratory illness or recent medical condition.
