This is a brand new race for 2014 and will start outside the Historic Lancaster Castle and will actually finish inside the Castle itself!
Pre race registration and the presentations will actually be inside a real Castle Prison wing within the grounds so this is a new experience for everyone! (we've been in and i tried to get them to keep Billy but they wanted him out!)
The route will be rural taking in the Luneside countryside and will be relatively flat so suitable for new runners and pb hunters!
We'll be looking to make donations to local charities including Galloway’s Society for the Blind & St. John’s Hospice and the event is supported by the Runners Centre.
All finishers to receive a specially struck medal.
Also available on the day will be refreshments at the Nice Cafe and guided tours.
10km route - Mainly flat course but with a downhill start and uphill finish. There is a hill at around half way at the Aquaduct bridge but followed by long gentle downhill section. Mainly traffic free and run on quiet paths.
You can predict your finish time for this race based on a recent race you've run. Enter the details below - select a similar type of race (hilliness and terrain) for the best prediction.
