This years Shere 40k will take place on the 13th September 2014 This is our 3rd year and we will be supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The Shere 40K is a charity multi terrain trail race which is run over the North Downs Way and Surrey Hills in aid of this years charity, Great Ormond Street Hospital. This event starts and finishes in the village of Shere with on site parking, toilet facilities and refreshments throughout the day. It’s a fully marked out route with marshalls and 3 checkpoints that are strategically placed at roughly 10k intervals. You can compete as an individual or as a team of three and you must complete the route in 12 hours to receive a medal and t-shirt.
This event could not take place with out the co-operation and kind permission from these various trusts, estates and organisations and we than them very much The Shere Parish Council The Hurtwood Estate The Wotton Estate The Albury Estate.
