The race starts at Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre in the bottom car park.   It comes up the car park and travels right onto the road passing the Wine Press (the old Fishermans Pub). It then turns left onto the road and then the path until it reaches the entrance of the Beach car park. Here it does a small loop up and around Milnrow road, cutting back down Milbury Drive.   Then its free flat running on a wide track around Hollingworth Lake that eventually joins the concrete path past the café. The lake path then turns left to join Rakewood Road and leads to a long run back to the Visitor Centre to finish.
