Men's Health Survival of the Fittest Cardiff

Date / Time
Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
Length 6.21 miles (10.0 km)
Description

Survival of the Fittest is back for 2014. Packing a colossal 10k urban assault course into each host city, Survival is Britain’s biggest adventure running series, with tens of thousands taking on these totally unique challenge events every year.

Expect loads of obstacles, iconic urban venues, totally engaging courses and that “big event feel” for which operators Rat Race are renowned. You will tackle gritty and engaging obstacle zones throughout the course, pitting your wits against 1000s of fellow competitors in a test of stamina, grit, speed and guts. And then you’ll hit our massive beer tent to round off a day of mud, sweat and beers.

The 2014 Cardiff event will be located again at the spectacular Roald Dahl Plas in the “Oval Basin” events arena, next to the gleaming Wales Millennium Centre and the Welsh Assembly, right on the waterfront of Cardiff Bay. The action starts and finishes here, with a spectacular charge over the Hay Bale Wall starting the race and a gruelling climb over the MH Wall of Fame on the menu for when you return; much to the delight of the huge crowd that gathers here.
