River Thames Half Marathon
Date / Time
Length
13.10 miles (21.1 km)
Description
The River Thames Half is a new half marathon over a flat, fast and visually interesting course along roads and Thames towpath to the south west of London. It is a perfect preparation event if you are running New York, Amsterdam or Florence marathons or you want the challenge of running a half marathon.
The first six miles are on road, then runners will have a good view of Hampton Court Bridge before transferring onto the picturesque towpath to Weybridge. The final mile is on road when the runners will have a great view of the spectacular, new Walton Bridge, opened in July 2013, where the race finishes.
There is ample car parking close to the start and toilets and baggage facilities. All finishers will receive a memento.
