The North Norfolk marathon and half marathon is in aid of Parkinsons UK - www.Parkinsons.org.uk and the Wells Harbour maritime Trust - www.wellsharbour.co.uk The Marathon, Half Marathon and Mini Marathon will all start and finish on the stunning Holkham estate in front of the Holkham Hall. The route will take you through the parklands on the estate and the down to the North Norfolk Coastal Path, along the coastal path and into the Coastal town of Wells next the sea. It will then take in a loop around Wells and will re enter the Holkham Estate through the East Gate and will take you around the estate and back to the start area. If you are doing the full marathon you will do another lap and for the half marathon you will finish here. Please note this a mixed terrain event. The course has been officially measured by the Association of Uk course measurers. For more details and for a map of the route please visit the 4shore website www.4shore.uk.com There will also be a mini marathon for children aged 5-16 year olds. 5-8 year olds will do 1k, 9-12 year olds will do 2.5k and 13-16 year olds will do 5k. The mini marathon will take part inside the Holkham Park. When entering please state whether you will be walking, power walking or running the course. The Marathon will start at 9am The Half Marathon will start at 11am The Mini Marathon will start at approximately 2pm Full Marathon - £35 Half Marathon - £25 Mini Marathon - £7.50 There will be a £2 reduction for members of UK Athletics. The price includes a free event T-shirt. All race numbers, Timing Chips, Event T-shirts and race information will be sent out to you prior to the event.
