2013 marks the 17th year of the the Ashdon 10K race and 3K fun. The run remains a very challenging race, that’s traffic free and a primarily off road. The route, as last year, will start and finish at Ashdon Primary School and crosses over some stunning countryside and farm land made possible by local landowners. The 10K and 3K will finish in the school field where there will be a barbecue serving hot dogs and hamburgers, homemade cakes and refreshments. The run is taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 6 May. Starting at 10.30am outside Ashdon Primary School, it's open to both novice and experienced runners. The 3K race is ideal for families and all levels of fitness, whereas the 10K course is a major event in the local running calendar where you can pit yourself against some of the best runners in Essex. And every runner goes home with a medal.
