The race will start at the city centre Chester Racecourse. The fast (and largely flat) route will be run on entirely on closed roads. Heading out of the City on wide roads runners will rapidly settle into the race, with plenty of support. In the second half of the race runners are guaranteed an extra special welcome from the residents of Saughall and Blacon on this especially fast stretch of the course before heading up into the City for a memorable finish outside the Town Hall and Cathedral.
