Length 3.11 miles (5.0 km)
Description
Resolution 5K will return to Battersea Park on Sunday 20 March 2011 - why not sign up and make this your first step to keeping that important new year's resolution! Resolution 5K is designed to help you turn your new year's resolution into a reality! The course at Battersea Park is two laps of a flat, paved route and the perfect opportunity for novices to try running (walking or jogging!) or for a seasoned runner to warm up for longer distances in the future. The event is a fun approach to achieving your goals and to get you in the mood on the day, we will have a Zumba inspired warm up! Stroke is the UK's third biggest killer and the leading cause of adult disability. By signing up for Resolution 5K, taking regular exercise and following a healthier lifestyle, you will be reducing your own chances of having a stroke in the future. Resolution is an opportunity to raise much needed funds and awareness for those affected by stroke. It's only £10 to enter and there is no set sponsorship target, we just ask you to raise as much as you can!
